I am raising money for Masizame Child development in Plettenberg bay. A charity that has been very important to my family for many years.
My sister (Abba) raised money by completing the Mongol derby in 2024. Now it is my time!
Masizame, meaning “Let Us Try” in isiXhosa, is a registered Child and Youth Care Centre (CYCC) and Child Protection Organisation (CPO) based in Plettenberg Bay, South Africa.
They provide essential, life-changing care for children who have been abused, neglected, or exploited (CANE). Masizame operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, as an essential service, offering both residential care and community-based programmes.
The vision is to strengthen protective childcare systems and help every child realise their full potential.
Aiming to:
- Deliver comprehensive prevention, intervention, and care programmes that empower lasting change.
- Build resilience and family unity within local communities.
- Be recognised for our transparency, compassion, and proactive approach to child development and protection.
Any support would be greatly appreciated. It is an amazing charity and organisation that helps many deserving children in Plettenburg bay.
