We rescued chevy a year and a half ago. In her short time before we got her she has her tail broken and had been left tied to a front door while her original owner went to prison. She was taken in by another family...but they already had an alpha female so chevy stayed in one room by herself until she was given to us. She is my support. I lost my job just two days after we got her during the height of covid. She is so energetic, loving and full of life. But unfortunately she has a torn ccl (acl). We have pet insurance but they are claiming its a pre existing condition and will not pay anything. We've put out 500 for xrays and meds so far but her surgery is over 4000 not including post op care and rehab. She is only 2 and a half and we want her to live a happy full life but are unable to come up with the money ourselves at this time.
