We’ve would’ve never expected it to happen in a million years but Wednesday morning of January 24th our home caught fire and burned from the inside out causing structural damage and leaving us all devastatingly displaced from our home. Although a majority of our personal belongings were lost due to water damage and damage from ceilings and walls torn down, we are incredibly grateful that everyone was okay. Unfortunately insurance will be a very long and tedious process and will take several months and only covers structural damage, meaning none of our personal possessions, furniture, or renovations that we put into our home will be covered. They also will not assist in providing or helping us find a place for us to stay or live during this process. This fund will help us find a new roof to put over our heads and help replace some of our belongings that could not be saved. We appreciate any helping hand that anyone extends to us during this tragic time. We understand that not everyone is in a position to donate to our fund. We ask that everyone that reads this is willing to at least share our message

Nunca esperamos que esto ibas a pasar ni en un millón de años, pero el miércoles 24 de enero por la mañana nuestra casa se incendió y quemo de adentro por fuera, causando daños estructurales y dejándonos a todos devastadoramente desplazados de nuestro casa. Aunque la mayoría de nuestras pertenencias personales se perdieron debido a daños causados por el agua y por techos y paredes derribados, estamos increíblemente agradecidos de que todos estuvieran bien. Desafortunadamente el seguro será un proceso muy largo y tedioso y tomará varios meses y solo cubre daños estructurales, es decir, no cubrirá ninguna de nuestras pertenencias personales, muebles o renovaciones que hicimos en nuestra casa. Tampoco ayudarán a proporcionarnos o ayudarnos a encontrar un lugar para quedarnos o vivir durante este proceso. Este fondo nos ayudará a encontrar un nuevo techo para ponernos sobre la cabeza y nos ayudará a reemplazar algunas de nuestras pertenencias que no pudimos salvar.
