Hi Everyone,
One of our Spectrum on Ice families really needs our help. We lost a very dedicated and loving father and husband suddenly on Monday, May 25, 2021. Nick's sons, who both skate with Spectrum on Ice, lost a loving and dedicated father. Nick's passing is a tremendous loss for his wife, sons, and the entire Hamilton family. It is also a huge loss for his colleagues, his Spectrum on Ice hockey family, and so many other people. So many people will miss him.
Nick was a pilot and a hero. He lost his life in the plane crash that occurred close to Nellis Air Force Base. Nick put the plane down as far away from a nearby elementary school and neighborhood, as possible. He is a true hero and lives were likely spared that day because of his decisions.
Raising children requires so much dedication, love, time, and money. Raising a child with a disability requires so much more time than many people realize. Nick's family is going to need all the help they can get to get though this, so I have set up this Go Fund Me to help his wife and his sons. Anything that you can help with is so appreciated.
