Billy

At the end of October, we found out our 6 year old son Billy had a 4cm Brain Tumor in his cerebellum. On November 1st, they did surgery to remove his tumor. Thankfully, they were able to remove the entire thing. We thought the surgery would be the hardest part. 

Unfortunately, Billy suffered some side effects from the surgery. He was diagnosed with Posterior Fossa Syndrome. Basically, it causes complete loss of the ability to speak and significant loss of mobility. Over the next few weeks and months, Billy will have to do intensive therapy first at an inpatient rehab center (4-6 weeks) and then on an outpatient basis until he has fully recovered. They’ve prepared us that it will probably be 6 to 9 months before he is back to where he was before. We know it’s going to be a tough road ahead of us but Billy is strong and we know he can do it!

The purpose of this fundraiser is to help with our upcoming medical costs as well as help with gas to drive to and from the city and childcare for Katie and Anthony while we are here. Any little bit helps. Thank you for your love and support.
