Hi all, my name is Jessie Megginson. I am here to tell you “Surfer” Stevie’s story on behalf of Paws For Big Hearts Rescue, based out of San Antonio, Texas. PFBHR is a veteran run organization, who has entrusted me to create Stevie’s GoFundMe on their behalf as they take care of many other dogs.

Stevie has surfed from a high kill shelter in Manhattan, New York, to a foster in Connecticut. We learned from the foster that Stevie is a sweet, sensitive boy who came to the rescue carrying fear and a lack of confidence from his past life. In order to truly set him up for success in a forever home, he desperately needs professional training and a safe board & train program to help him learn to trust, decompress, and build confidence in a structured, supportive environment.

$3,000 is the amount the rescue was quoted for Stevie, and we are desperately trying to raise it to get him out of harm's way and to solidify a successful future for him.
