Please help.

Hi, I'm Steve and I'm in a bit of a situation. I have been recently scammed by 2 landlords. One turned out to be subletting a housing association, and I'm caught in the middle. The other took a large sum of money for deposit/rent in advance for a property it turns out he had no intention of renting out, and because it's a civil matter the police can't get involved.

Tonight the 1st landlady turned up with some heavies and removed all furniture including beds, all kitchen equipment etc. I'm left with a sofa, air fryer, my own tv and 2 cats. Only the police prevented me being illegally evicted tonight.

I'm up a creek without a paddle, therefore, embarrassingly, I'm having to get the begging bowl out. I need funds to either refurnish this place, which I have to be out of in a couple of months anyway, or, preferably, funds to be able to pay deposit/rent in advance on somewhere new. If you can help, no matter how small, I would be pathetically grateful. Thank you, in advance.
