In June 2023, I injured my hip on the job. My injury became worse after 3 weeks of Physical Therapy through workers compensation. Two doctors and my physical therapists told me I needed further medical care through a Specialist and MRI. The request for a Specialist/MRI was denied by the workers compensation insurance company (Liberty Mutual) as well as further Physical Therapy and additional medical care through Concentra.

At this point I felt wronged and was advised to call an attorney. The last day I tried to work was August 8 for 3 hours before my manager called and said I had to go home because I was a liability. I have been unable to work since August 8 and unable to work a full 8 hour shift since June. This past week (8/29) I received notice that I have been denied for State Disability Benefits and will have to begin another appeal process. The State Disability Benefits was my last chance to have a chance to pay my essential bills and not lose what little I have. My attorney continues to fight but isn't very positive about recovering my lost wages without receiving Disability Benefits.

The timeline between medical care and legal progress has been a nightmare and detrimental to my physical, mental and overall well being. I feel I am left with little choice or options. So here I am desperate and asking my friends and family to help.
