Support Michael's Recovery Journey

My name is Abagail. I’m making a GoFundMe for Michael, who is my uncle but pretty much raised me, so I refer to him as my dad. At the end of March, our lives changed in an instant when I got a phone call that he collapsed at work and had a brain aneurysm and stroke. He spent 3 1/2 months unconscious and intubated, and had several surgeries to try and help the damage of the stroke. He has recently woken up and is learning to speak, eat, and function again, but his memory hasn’t come back all the way. He doesn’t know any of his reality and will never be able to work or live alone again.

I am asking for help to pay for his medical bills, and for the court cost for attempting to get guardianship of him so I can apply him for disability so he will be able to have a place to go to constantly look after him.

His current insurance is not covering any more stay at the hospital he is in, so anything would help in this journey. Thank you.
