Help D.K.

Hello to anyone that might be reading this. If you are reading this, I’m sure you probably know me and I probably know you, if you do know me you know that the most important thing to me is my cats especially DK. DK has been in my life for the past 14 years. He doesn’t act like a 14 year old cat in the slightest.

He is a rock. He is my best friend and he has been there through some really bad lows and really good highs.

He is quite literally the best emotional support everything to me. On the evening of June 21 I noticed that he was acting really different. He was sticking his tongue out and not in the cute kitty Look at me I’m cute way. It was very, not normal and when I tried to investigate he acted very different as if he was in pain.

It was already past 10pm so I could only take to an emergency clinic. They ran full diagnostics and found some issueswith his jaw, specifically around the chin. A full x-ray has been done and currently now just waiting for the full results to rule if it is just bone degeneration, tooth / jaw infection, or a tumor.

We have been discharged for now but not without a hefty unexpected medical bill.

I made this as some sort of way to ask for help. I don’t typically do that. I rather just fail in my own and try again before asking for help with anything. I know that all medical bills are unexpected. I know that this is a medical bill for an animal, but DK is not an animal to me. He is my child. He is my best friend. He’s my everything as I mentioned before.

I know we currently live in some really hard times, and I don’t say any bit of that lightly. I know that the economy, the world, every moment of every day is a lot harder for all of us currently I am just asking if there is any bit that you can spare to help me with DK during this time and whatever to future holds with the X-rays; I would incredibly appreciate it and completely understand if you can’t. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this description. Thank you for all of the well wishes and prayers and love that has been sent our way. I don’t know what will happen once the full results come back. I just hope that I can do what’s best for my best friend.
