Hello, my name is Christina and this is my 22-year-old son, Dallas. Dallas had a horrific accident on 11/30/24 that sent him to two different hospitals. He’s been through three surgeries already and is likely to have at least one more. Dallas was in ICU for five long days and finally graduated to getting his own room. Seeing my son like this has broken my heart in a way that only a mother could understand. Not being able to give him a simple thing like water because his stomach needs to start working again, unable to take his pain away while he’s yelling being hoisted from his bed to a chair for the first time, or comfort him with a loving hug because he has open wounds all over his body and at least ten machines hooked up to him. Even as I am typing this right now, I am crying looking back on less than a week ago and what he’s had to overcome and has been going through. The good days and the dark days make it a roller coaster, and he has months of recovery to go. I am making this GoFundMe for my son so he can use all of his energy to heal, and when he finally does recover, he will have his home to go back to. This money will go directly to his hospital and monthly bills for the next few months as he will not be able to get back to work for a very long time.
