Medical Expenses

Hello,

Our dad Domingo Torres Jr has been battling stage IV Renal Cell Carcinoma and stage IV Non- Hodgkins Lymphoma. These past 5 years he has been a Trooper, up till this past year he's been battling with his side-effects from chemotherapy and radiation.

8 weeks ago he was diagnosed with COVID, which lead to Pneumonia and many stays in and out of the Hospitals. We are blessed that they have finally found what he has been keeping him from progressing. After a recent spinal tap and MRI my father has been diagnosed with cryptococcus neoformans in his brain. Due to the sevarity of his conditions he was recently intubated. We are not sure how much brain damage he may have.

Our father is known as "Dada" to us his kids, and all his 7 grandchildren and has been married for 41 wonderful years.

Always a man who puts God first and family second. A proud Marine Veteran, a Knight of Columbus with Holy Spirit Catholic Church, along with volunteering there he was a CCD teacher, once was a director for the Squires and a repeating team leader for the ACTS retreat.

Due to these in and out stays at the hospitals our mom has missed a lot of days of work, she's requested early retirement to spend as much time with dad but it is taking a toll financially.

We have helped my parents along the way but with his recent intubation and pending day to day progress we are in desperation for community help.

This Gofund me has been discussed in the past to do for our dad but we as a family unit have always helped each other get by thanks to God. However, we are humbly asking for this so we can help my mom spend more time with our dad.
