My name is Sarah Cameron, and I'm organizing this fundraiser with a heavy heart for my big brother and his partner Bonnie.

On August 22nd, our lives changed forever when we learned that we're running out of time with Scott.

After 7 1/2 hours of surgery, it was discovered that he is in the final stages of bile duct cancer.

A shocking prognosis that no one was prepared for. In the same moment we found out about the cancer, we were told there's no longer an option available for treatment. We had no choice but to face the devastating reality that we would soon lose our beloved Scott.

Whether you are lucky enough to know Scott on a close personal level, or if you've only met him momentarily, chances are, he made you laugh.

For most, he's known as the life of the party. The guy who will give you a ride to work, and his last $20 so you can have a bite to eat later. Not because there's something in it for him, but out of the goodness of his heart because that's the kind of man he is.

For his loved ones, we know he's not just the life of the party.

He's the kind of person who truly sees you and accepts you as you are without judgment. Scott will tell you what you need to hear without sugarcoating it. Whether it's an encouraging kick in the ass or an endearing pat on the back, he's always there for you.

Scott is the light in the room during your darkest day. He's the glue that holds you together when you're falling apart, but most of all, Scott is HOME.

So how can we help the man who will (and most likely has) give you the shirt off his back? I wish it was as easy as giving my brother half of my liver, and anything else he needs.

Unfortunately it's too late now to band together for a makeshift build-a-Scotty with organ transplants. I know we would all line up if we could.

But we CAN help make his last days comfortable and stress free by making a monetary donation to Scott and his beautiful partner Bonnie.

All donations will help towards expenses such as gas, and daily parking fees at the hospital so Bonnie can continue to be at his side. To help stop the bills from piling up, so they can focus on more important things like spending time together, and making as many memories as possible.

Eventually, your donations will also help with the financial cost of cremation services and a celebration of life.
