Please Help Ret MWD Bak

Bak has been fighting many health issues recently, and we have been able to manage them as they emerge. Just this past fall, Bak had a permanent Urinary Port placed due to nerve damage in his spine. We received a huge amount of support during that time, and he had recovered from that major obstacle, in true Bak fashion.
Bak had to see an Eye Specialist for a detached lens and elevated eye pressures (Glaucoma) on January 26 with the Dr.'s at Eye Care for Animals. He is currently being treated for his eye issues and has a recheck exam on February 23rd. We are hoping that his medications will resolve his eye issues and he won't need surgical intervention to remove his luxated lens.
Bak also recently suffered a severe urinary infection and the culture was an antibiotic resistant bacteria. Bak was placed on specialized medication and was fighting the infection when he suddenly became weak, wobbly and he collapsed. We rushed him to El Paso Animal Emergency & Specialty Referral Center where they did an emergency CT scan. They discovered that Bak had several abnormalities within his spinal column and they referred him to a Neurology specialist. Yesterday, I drove him 4 and a half hours to New Mexico, which is the nearest Neurological clinic. They are trying to ascertain what they can do to help him.
He is undergoing an MRI to determine if his spinal issues are repairable, and if so, what treatment he would need. During their routine exams, they noticed a marked deficit on his front legs as well, and need to do an entire scan of his back from skull to bum. This is going to cost almost 5 thousand dollars ALONE, and that is without any treatment or care. His kidney values have spiked, and they are trying to handle that in conjunction with the other obstacles he faces.
We have had many, many, hurdles to jump to help Bak along the way. He has been a strong solider, battling everything his injuries made him face. We have spent our entire life savings caring for him over the last 3 years. We are just tapped out. We paid about 4500 dollars just in the last 2 days, with many thousands still due. Please....this dog served his country bravely and he needs help. I am not proud to admit we NEED your help to help Bak now, but I will do whatever I can do to get him the help he needs. We did it alone for years, but we just can't do it anymore. WE NEED HELP. PLEASE.
