Medical Mission Trip

Hello from Dr. and Mrs. Smith! We have been presented with an incredible opportunity to take part in a medical mission trip to the Dominican Republic in January! We are teaming up with the Hispaniola Medical Charity. The mission of Hispaniola is to provide medical, surgical and dental care to the impoverished people on the island of Hispaniola. Hispaniola is the home of Haiti on the west and the Dominican Republic on the East. We are accomplishing this through surgical and dental missions, education, medical school scholarships and procurement of much needed supplies and equipment. 

While we are there, we hope to share of God's blessing in our lives, share our faith through testimony with all those we come in contact with and we pray God will use us, as He sees fit, to be a light in the Dominican Republic. We are excited to take part in our first medical mission trip, and God-willing, it will be the first of many. 

We will be leaving for our trip on January 5th and returning January 12th. More than aiding us financially, we hope you will pray for us, our team, our trip and the people of the Dominican Republic.
