The Carpenter Family

Hi my name is Laura White and I am reaching out on behalf of this wonderful family.

For those who grew up in the D-Y and Barnstable communities, chances are you have had the pleasure to know Jeff Carpenter.  From growing up and becoming well known and loved within Dennis-Yarmouth, to then moving into the Barnstable community and sharing his infectious joy and humor with family, friends, and as the hockey coach to all four of his children.  All it takes is one meeting to see how big both Jeff’s heart and personality are.  Between his sense of humor, smile that can’t be erased, and his overall friendly disposition. 

Sadly, after celebrating what should have been a proud occasion of his older daughter embarking on a new adventure in California, Jeff suffered from a massive stroke.  It was fortunate that the signs were caught quickly that ultimately saved his life, but he does have a long road to recovery as the family prepares to continue the fight.  Since Jeff was self-employed, this will come with some significant financial obstacles between medical bills, daily financial needs, and support for his wife, MJ, Taylor, Zach, Ali and Riley as they navigate through this difficult time.

We have seen the beauty and power that comes with a tight knit community and are asking to come together again to support this salt of the earth family by alleviating some financial needs during this difficult time.  Anything will help so that MJ and the kids can focus on what truly matters, helping Jeff recover and be back with his family in whatever capacity they can.  Please consider donating to our dear friend.
