On October 14, 2015, my dad, Robert Whaley had a heart attack and went to heaven.  There is not enough room on this page for me to explain how awesome he was. He's the guy that helped everyone and anyone, friends, family, strangers alike.  He would go on Craig's List and find lawn movers, washers, dryers, and random items to restore, and often he would give them to others who were in need.  He was always in the stands cheering me on when I was in high school. ...and ensuring that my car ran so that I could safely travel home when I was in college.  Anytime, any of us needed something, he made it a project; setting aside his favorite project of  restoring a 1965 GMC Truck.  He travelIed all the way to Arkansas to bring it back to Michigan.  It was his dream to make it like new.  My dad helped me to fulfill many of my dreams, and I now I want to fulfill one of his, by completing the restoration of the truck.

It will start but needs to be checked out to see if it will run properly, and can be driven on the road continually.  I want to get it checked out, finish the body work and paint it.  Once it's done, I'll drive it in honor of my dad!
