In short, my mom is fighting to stop the foreclosure of her home before it’s too late. After receiving legal action for foreclosure in 2025, the same year she had to take time off to recover from serious medical issues, she has finally been able to start working again and is now battling to save her home. But time is running short, she only has until June 6th to make the payment that could change everything. She is also caring for her cats and a dog Minnie who depend on her every day, and losing her home would mean not knowing what would happen to them. We’re raising $10,000 to help her catch up on overdue mortgage payments and give her a fair chance to keep her home.
My mom has always been one of the strongest people I know, the kind who puts everyone else first, even when she’s struggling herself. But the past year and a half have tested her in ways no one should ever have to endure.
In 2025, she received legal action for foreclosure after having to take time off work to focus on her health. That same year brought multiple challenges, ovarian cyst removal surgeries, deep vein thrombosis, and recurring blood clots that required long periods of recovery. While she tried to take care of her physical health, her mental health began to decline as she faced major depressive disorder and bipolar disorder, along with long bouts of anxiety and depression.
She’s been fighting since the start of this year to overcome it all, finally working again, earning what she can, and trying to save her home. For months, she tried to endure this quietly, not wanting to burden her children or anyone else. But as the foreclosure situation worsened, she finally reached out for help. It was one of the hardest things she’s had to do, yet it showed how much strength and humility she’s maintained through the worst of her struggles.
Her home isn’t just a place to live, it’s also where her pets are safe. She cares for her cats and a dog; Minnie who depend on her every day. The thought of losing her home doesn’t just mean losing shelter, it means not knowing what would happen to them, and that has been one of the most heartbreaking parts of this situation.
We’re asking for help to raise $10,000 to cover overdue mortgage payments and give her the chance to keep her home while continuing her recovery. Every donation, share, and kind word means the world to her, and reminds her that she isn’t alone in this fight.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for reading her story and for any support you can give. Your generosity brings hope and gives our family the strength to keep holding on.
