Funeral fund for Dad “Phil Kinser”

As some of you may or may not know, our Dad (Phil Kinser) was diagnosed in June 2018 with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease. A very rare terminal illness that has no cure. 

Dad was admitted to The Medical Center on December 19, 2018 due to complications of ALS. He had a tracheostomy on Wednesday, December 26th and a Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (feeding tube) placed on Friday, December 28th and is currently in the ICU. With all the current surgeries and the extensive care he will need down the road my parents will incur an enormous amount of medical expenses. 

My parents have health insurance, but our Dad will need a great deal of care going forward and a lot of the care and supplies will not be covered by Health Insurance including the skilled nursing he will require. We hate for our Mom to have all this financial burden on her while she tries to  care for our Dad each and every day. This has been a very devastating time for our whole Family especially around Christmas time.
