Hello, we are fundraising for a young man named Hugo who has recently been diagnosed suddenly wit leukaemia. Hugo is a hard working young man who travelled from Mexico to Canada to work for a winter and summer maintenance company to earn and send money home to his family in Mexico. Very quickly Hugo became a favourite on his crews as well as with the people he lives with. He continued to work hard with a smile even though he was not feeling very well leading up to his diagnosis.

Currently Hugo is in the hospital but because of his visa status he does not have health insurance and expenses are piling up. We are all working along with the wonderful hospital staff at Juravinski in Hamilton to extend Hugo's time in Canada while getting him the treatment he needs. Hugo will start Chemotherapy this week and the doctors are optimistic about his prognosis

If you are able please donate to Hugo's fund, he has many expenses that are piling up while the is in the hospital. His journey will be a difficult one that will require money he simply does not have to give.
