Dennis Medical & living & travel ex

Dennis went into the hospital on Sunday, March 13th with shortness of breath. He was quickly diagnosed with pneumonia. He was admitted and by Thursday was put on a ventilator. His pneumonia worsened quickly and they had to put him on a special bed that allowed him to be placed on his stomach. Dennis is still on the vent, his lungs are not looking much better after a week of antibiotics. This is his second time being so critical with pneumonia, the last time being only a year and a half ago. He has been in kidney failure and was on dialysis for 16hours. He has ARD. The type of pneumonia is unknown at this time but lung tissue has  been sent to Mayo clinic.  This is a community acquired pnumonia bit that is all we know. He will need a lung biopsy after hus lungs heal. Medical expenses are starting to add up and there will be more to come. Dennis will likely be in the hospital another week and it will take many months to recover. Dennis will need to be seen by a lung specialist likely in a bigger city to find out why he keeps getting sick. He has a long journey ahead of him.
