Support Grayson's Fight for Recovery
Donation protected
On Christmas Eve, just three days before his first birthday, Grayson had a severe allergic reaction after eating breakfast. Grayson's dad (Andrew) administered an EpiPen while his mom (Jessica) called 911. These actions saved Grayson's life. However, Grayson stopped breathing in the ambulance on the way to the hospital. Upon arriving at Children's, Grayson went into cardiac arrest and the Children's ER doctors revived him. Grayson spent his first Christmas and birthday fighting for his life in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Children's Hospital and has a long, unknown road to recovery in front of him and his family.
We are asking for continued prayers for Grayson and family, and donations to help cover out-of-pocket medical expenses and other necessities to help Andrew and Jessica focus on Grayson's immediate needs for recovery.
UPDATE (12/27/27): Grayson’s full MRI results show some cerebral injury that may affect his range of motion in his arms and legs but no injury to parts of the brain responsible for memory or speech. Doctors are cautiously optimistic that Gray will regain range of motion and mobility with intensive physical therapy. We should learn more once he comes off the ventilator and sedatives.
UPDATE (12/28/24): Grayson is now off the ventilator and breathing on his own! Andrew and Jessica were able to hold him today. Next step is to move from PICU to a regular room but doctors want to see a bit more progress first including bringing Gray out of sedation but his heart rate has been elevated today. Once Gray is able to leave Children’s, he’ll start intensive PT/rehab at Madonna. Grayson is making progress, please continue to pray for him.
Thank you!
