Some of you may know Melissa Doherty as the Special Education Secretary at Forestdale and Oak Ridge Schools. Others may know her as a life-long resident of Sandwich, but her most important role has been raising her six-year-old son, Caden. What you may not know is Melissa will undergo breast cancer surgery at Mass General this upcoming week. Last month, Melissa was diagnosed with breast cancer.
