UPDATE: Thanks to all of your generous donations, Mendy and Yael have been able to hire caregivers to assist Mendy at his home, and purchase needed equipment. Unfortunately, Mendy's condition has further deteriorated. At this point, he requires professional care and services beyond what he can get at home. In a few weeks, he is going to a temporary respite care home for a 1-week stay. Mendy and Yael are looking into the possibility of moving him into a long-term care home on a more permanent basis. To help with the mounting expenses, we have increased the goal of this campaign to $54,000.00. We appreciate your patience with the earlier technical glitches experienced by the website, which have all been rectified.
