Hi, Im Christine raising funds to help my fellowmen in Cebu, Philippines who were greatly affected by the supertyphoon. As you’ve seen in the news and on social media, my country was hit with two super typhoons in just a week. The first typhoon directly hit my hometown, causing devastating flooding that reached the roof of houses. Not only did this damage properties, but some families also lost loved ones. I can only imagine the pain they’re going through, struggling to find food and safe water to drink while recovering from the aftermath of the typhoon. Some areas are still without electricity, and their houses are still covered in mud.

Even now, a week after the disaster, my social media is still flooded with photos and videos of people crying for help. I am grateful that all my family are safe, as this was a traumatic experience for us. We lost my grandmother four years ago to a super typhoon when she was swept away by the strong flood and surge of water. I am grateful that they are all well and safe, despite the damage, so I have organised a donation drive to help. With your help, a small act of kindness can go a long way. All funds raised will be sent to the Philippines, particularly my home in Cebu and Leyte, as well as other surrounding areas that need it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
