Urgent Help Needed To Prevent Eviction.

This is one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. Asking for help is not an easy task. Unfortunately, I am in need of financial help. On February 24th, I went into the hospital for bariatric surgery. I should have gone home the next afternoon. I suffered some complications during surgery and developed a sepsis infection, ending up having emergency surgery 2 days later (none of which I remember). I then developed a second sepsis infection and spent 17 days in the hospital, only to be sent home before I should have been. I am doing better and getting stronger every day, but I am still very weak as my body is struggling to get enough protein, as pain and nausea are still a part of my daily life.

Before my surgery, I was already struggling to make ends meet and pay the bills as work was slow. I spent my savings to pay rent and bills, and unfortunately, I lost my job while in the hospital.

On Friday, we received a 7-day eviction notice, as we were not able to pay rent this month. Our rent and utilities are about $2,800 a month. We need to pay $1,930 before the 16th or we will be evicted.
