Dear Neighbours and Anderson Community Members,

We are heartbroken about the very sudden passing of Shannon, our beloved concierge, who brought incredible kindness, warmth, dedication, and genuine care to our community. Shannon’s friendly smile, helpful nature, hard work and unwavering commitment to assisting others created a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone at The Anderson.

Shannon's impact was profound, even though her time with us was cut short. Her husband of 23 years expressed, “Thank you for giving her the best job of her life in her final months.”

Shannon was the cornerstone of her family, serving as the primary caregiver and financial provider for both her husband Troy, who is still recovering from a severe car accident last year and unable to work, and her 90-year-old Dad that lives with them.

In honour of Shannon, any contributions that can be made from our community will go directly to her family to aid, in any way possible, the immediate loss of income including housing, food, funeral arrangements and other unexpected costs that arise during this tragic time.
