Escape from death

Hello, We are Amr and Gilan. We live in Gaza City and we are reaching out for support to help our family get out of Gaza to live in peace. In fact, after several nights of heavy bombing on Nuseirat, we evacuated our home and took refuge in residential refugee camps that house more than 2 million people, in the south. We lived in a small tent that was our bedroom, kitchen, and all of our daily life. We had no electricity or fuel. For four months, we were barely able to secure diapers and milk for our 11-month-old baby.

We lived in the now destroyed neighborhood of Gaza City. We got engaged in 2021, and married a few months later in 2022. We built our dream apartment in 2023, and our baby Muhammad was born in March 2023, 5 months before the war in the Gaza Strip where he did not have access to health care like any other child. In what part of the world there will be milk, diapers or even access to vaccination; This made him vulnerable to infectious diseases in this polluted environment. My family also lives in Nuseirat camp, and they were displaced under fire and did not have anything with them. They were forced to leave the city and go south where they had no one or place to stay after the IDF destroyed our house leaving nothing but ashes. Our memories, our money, our comic books, and the corners in which we used to sit were destroyed.

Now, we have no home, no job, and no income. We are being shot and bombed as there is no safe place in the Gaza Strip. We could barely get food, water and diapers for our children, so we sometimes used to consume non-potable water, which causes severe gastroenteritis and other health problems. Thank you for your willingness to learn about our circumstances. Palestinian voices are often silenced, making it difficult to raise awareness of our situation and seek support. Having a safe, supportive, non-judgmental community is vital to us.

At this moment; On behalf of my family, I sincerely and deeply ask all good people to help them get out of the most dangerous place in the world and start a new life. The conditions, risks and hardships are unimaginable, and time is extremely sensitive, which means they can cause serious health problems, costing blood and lives. Thank you very much,
