Larry the Legend

Donation protected

Saturday, October 10th heaven gained one hell of an angel.

Larry the Legend. Main streets finest. Larry’s short battle with Glioblastoma ended. He was still his fierce feisty self until the very end.

If you’ve been to Main Street newmarket, you know Larry. His days started at the Flamingo coffee shop, he then would either walk on over to Little brew hops or Hungry brew hops to see Boris and his lovely staff that Larry was so fond of. After a wobbly pop or two Larry would make his way to Cachet to visit with Jenn, Maddie and their staff.

Larry was quite the artist, most that frequent/lived/ worked on Main Street more than likely have one or two drawings from him.

Larry would talk or try to get a laugh out of anyone and everyone. A man that truly spoke his mind.

In his 84 years on this earth, I can honestly say he truly lived. He has not had it easy, but being able to touch so many hearts and simply be known by ALL of Newmarket says something in itself.

In Larry’s last few months, he showed us all how strong and how much of a fighter he really was. But his battle finally came to an end and he is at peace now.

We are planning a service at Roadhouse and Rose, and a celebration of life to follow on Wednesday, October 14h. Not all will be allowed at the service due to the times we are in, so if you can make it and help raise funds to put towards the funeral costs that would be greatly appreciated. Come to cachet Supper Club Wednesday, October 14th at 5 pm and raise a glass in honour of an unforgettable man.

Love you for always Larry.
