On June 25, 2020,  Nikko was arrested by Oakland PD, with a no-knock warrant issued for his arrest. He is facing felony charges for violating Penal code 422. He is being inaccurately accused of threatening the police officer that murdered his brother, when in fact, he was being peacefully proactive in pushing to have the case reopened and have a civil suit filed against the officer by way of the change. org petition: Justice for Demouria Nikko has never been in trouble and this has come as a complete shock to all of us.
