Hurricane Harvey Animal Rescue Fund

Many animals have been stranded and left to drown in our area of Texas. Many of you have asked how to help, and here is how you can.

I am Cheryl Walyuchow and I have lived in Victoria for over 20 years and have been actively rescuing pets for most of that time.  As flood waters rose following Hurricane Harvey I teamed up with Toya Stone and Wags Hope and Healing as we went into the high water areas of town to help rescue stranded dogs, cats and other animals.

Since then, the number of animals in need in all areas impacted by Harvey has increased and includes family pets, livestock and other animals that we are assisting in areas outside of Victoria.  We are helping in Port Lavaca, Refugio, Goliad and other areas hit hard by the destruction.

I am raising money to help offset the cost of these efforts with all funds raised being donated to  Wags Hope and Healing, a 501c3 rescue.

Donations help with transporting dogs and animals out of the area, vet expenses and food. 100% of your donation will go directly to these efforts.   We are working with Wags Hope and Healing  to help these animals.

The hurricane is over, but the aftermath will continue for a long time. Please help make a difference in the lives of these animals!

If you can even spare $10 or $20, it would be greatly appreciated.

Once the goal is reached I will donate all the money to Wags.

Thank you in advance and God bless!
