April 15th the world lost a much loved son, brother, uncle and amazing friend in the passing of Jalen McLaughlin. Jay was always around to spark a laugh or hold you down in times of need, definitely one of the realest. Not afraid to speak his mind, Jalen always served facts blunt and to a point - the same way he delivered a joke.

As the family struggles to navigate the grief and pain of losing Bubba, they also take care to respect Jalen's wishes for cremation and celebration in his honour. No one could have been prepared to lose Jalen so suddenly, so young.

I'm writing today to ask the community of friends who Jalen adored to rally behind his family.
