This gofundme page was created to support the Morehead family while Jeri undergoes treatment for breast cancer. Her cancer is triple negative, but was detected in the early stages of development. Jeri is currently undergoing chemotherapy and radiation. Jeri lost her hair on the 17th day after chemotherapy, and as of right now has four more sessions of chemotherapy to undergo. Jeri is a wife and a mother of three, and her family appreciates any dontation you are able to give.
Maybe you don't have very much money and can only give literally $1. That's fine, that's $1 more to help the family than existed before you clicked on this link. Maybe you are a college student like myself and can give very little money because you don't have much of disposable income. I encourage you to sacrifice buying that case of beer or box of pizza in order to help out the Morehead family. Maybe you are a wealthy person and can donate a great deal, that's wonderful. What I am trying to say is that any amount of money, no matter how small, can help out the Morehead family during this tough time.
Crowd-sourcing for noble causes are a great part of the internet age and the 21st century. After recieveing permission from Travis and his family, I launced this page for the simple reason of helping a wonderful and loving family during their time of need. Cancer has undoubtedly affected millions and millions of people, whether directly or inderectly, in our world. No person or family deserves to have to deal with this disease, but the reality of the situation is that cancer is very real and very present still in our world today.
As I said above, any donation of any size is greatly appreciated! Travis Morehead and I will continue to update this page every couple of weeks with Jeri's progress in fighting cancer. Her family has so much weighing on their minds right now and I just feel that money and how to pay medical bills should not have to be one of those things Thank you for taking the time to read about Jeri's fight and hold your loved ones close tonight.
