Hi everyone! This is my brother Keith, aka Uncle Keith, aka G-Man, aka Keithasan...and a million others. To know Keith is to love him. He is literally the kindest, most thoughtful, caring and selfless human I know.

Keith was diagnosed with a rare type of oral cancer and has a really tough road ahead. He has been in extreme pain and unable to be on a normal diet for years due to another oral condition called Lichen Planus which has impeded his quality of life dramatically. Rarely, LP can morph into cancer cells and unfortunately, Keith is the rare case (don't quote me on my medical speak, please). He endured a more-than-12-hour surgery a few weeks ago, which ended with a feeding tube, an ICU stay and a liquid diet.

The good news is, the surgery was as successful as it could be - the bad news is that he then found out he will have to go through radiation AND chemo. He is tough and he is going to make it through this. But the added complication is that Keith's job is to care for adults with special needs (see...excellent human) The parents of those adults have been insanely caring and supportive and collaborative as he maps this out, but they do have to pay someone to fill in for him frequently during this ordeal, so he will not get paid for the time he misses.

We just don't want money to be a factor in his already anxious and stressed mind and heart. If you know him, you'll also know that he would hate that we're doing this for him so mum's the word, but we love him and want to try to give him some relief on this front.

I know there are so many worthy and frightening and monumental causes out there that need funding right now, but if you love Keith like we do, if he has given you a nickname over the years and you know how much we need him talking and living a full life, or if you just would like to help us help Keith because you're wonderful, we would so appreciate it.
