We are reaching out with hopeful hearts to ask for your help for our dear friend Jazmin as she faces the toughest battle of her life.

In July 2024, at only 41 years old, Jazmin was diagnosed with colon adenocarcinoma. She bravely underwent surgery in September 2024 and completed 24 weeks of chemotherapy. Sadly, at the end of August 2025, she received devastating news: the cancer has now spread to her liver, and she will need an even more aggressive treatment plan.

Who is Jazmin?

Jazmin is a fighter—and a giver. She has always shown incredible compassion for others. She is an active member of the 12-step recovery community, hosting meetings and sponsoring others, even during her first battle with cancer. She also volunteers at The Denise House, helping women and children escaping gender-based violence, and at DARS, supporting families struggling with housing, food, and financial insecurity.

Why We Need Your Help

Jazmin is self-employed as a hairstylist and does not have health benefits. She is the sole income earner in her home, but due to treatment, she will no longer be able to work. The financial burden of medical costs, such as prescriptions, and basic living expenses is overwhelming.
