Jorell and myself will be traveling to Ohio for surgery. This surgery is a very difficult one, and very invasive as well and will change his body. He will go thru 13 hour surgery, and also have chemo placed inside is body to help fight this directly. We are praying this makes him cancer free and that he lives a long and healthy life. He will be there about 2 weeks. I myself will be by his side the entire time if they allow me to be, if not I will need a hotel room. We will need gas to get there And back(4 hours drive time total) as well as food, hospital food makes him throw up, chemo has changed his taste and he’s very picky on what he likes to eat. He will be unable to do so many things, he will play games on PlayStation or his laptop. So any and all donations will go towards this trip and towards his recovery time afterwards. After surgery he will continue to have chemo for another 6 rounds which is about every 2 weeks unless he needs blood or platelet transfusions or if his count recovery( anc, hemoglobin, platelet count, wbc are too low) will set the days back longer, then followed by radiation for about a month to a month in a half. We have a long road to recovery. We pray this doesn’t come back, because stage 4 is already spread and the doctors are fighting this with everything, there is almost no chance of fighting, if this returned is what we was told. But jorell is strong and determined to live a long life. Jorell has been fight this aggressive form of cancer called Ewing’s Sarcoma soft cell stage 4, he has a massive tumor in pelvic area, and another large one above belly button and several smaller ones, none in bone marrow, bone in any bones, are major organs. He was a senior in high school Ben Davis when he found the news out March 24th, 2020. He managed to graduate virtually while being in hospital on chemo. I started this go fund me only because I left my job to not leave his side as he has been admitted to er dept a few times now. And we are at the hospital a lot, he also has a home nurse come out to access his port and draw labs 2 times a week. I also have to administer his nulasta shot, it boosts his levels to go back up after chemo. Plus no one should be alone during this hard time. We appreciate any help we receive. Thank you and god bless.
