Help for Tori

Tori has been experiencing medical troubles for the past 5 months but things have continued to worsen the past month She has had to have fluid removed from her around her lungs that continues to return. She has now had to take a leave of absence from work as the medical tests continue. Tori is one to help out others but has a hard time asking for help in return. Due to the Coronavirus family and friends are not able to visit or send her meals to help out. It would be great if we could help her financially to make it through these uncertain times ahead for her and her family. Update from Tori: This was very kind of you to do, I will lay this out as it’s been happening. Nov I went in because it hurt to cough, yawn, laugh, cry and they treated it as pleurisy, I went through 2 rounds of prednisone and it did nothing but make me gain weight, I went back in and they did breathing tests, and saw I have difficulties so decided to drain fluid from around my lungs to send out for testing and unfortunately I’m stumping Dr’s because they can’t figure this out.... I just continued through pain, got settled into my new job and patently waited for medical to start as I’ve done all tests, procedures and appointments without insurance, now I have insurance as of March 16th 2020 so I I felt exhausted, and pain was stronger, and it radiated to my right shoulder and went down my arm and with the COVID-19 going around I did an E-visit and they advised me to go to ER for imaging to make sure my pleural effusion wasn’t worse, well it was and they drained it that day (Friday) it was painful and unfortunately they had to stop because the pressure was too much for me but they got a lot, X-ray was taking afterwards, reviewed and Monday I was sent to CT where they see more happening, and fluid has returned from draining just few days prior, so today I get it fully drained and X-ray to follow to see if anything is hiding behind all the fluid, than I will have a CT 2 hrs after to see if it has spread to other areas and tomorrow I have a biopsy. So a lot happening in a very short time, yet it’s been 5 months but my body is sending some much needed signs to these Dr’s to get things going and quickly and they have been listening and doing things immediately. I’m still trying to take this all in, I’m not looking forward to the procedure today or tomorrow but I’m also wanting answers and relief. My family is my world, I will go to the ends of the earth for them and beyond, I know they are worried... yet they are tough and are instead saying : we got you mom, if you need help in any way even financially, we got you! I’m mom, they are kids but all adult children but let me tell you they are still my babies. I just ask people to check in with them too, and my mom, sister etc...for we all are tough yet trying times we just need people.
