Bone Marrow Transplant
Dear Friends, Family, and Compassionate Well wishers,
I hope this message finds you well. Today, I am reaching out to share a heartfelt story of strength, courage, and a little girl named WALIAH NAYIGA, who is facing a fierce battle against leukemia.
Waliah is a 16-year-old with dreams as big as her heart. Her unwavering spirit and infectious smile have touched the lives of everyone who knows her. However, leukemia has entered her life, bringing with it immense challenges that no child should ever have to face.
Waliah was diagnosed in October 2023. Following this, her family went ahead to start her treatment with help of this community that contributed a total of $770 for which the family is immensely grateful. Throughout the course of the treatment Waliah responded well and her cancer became quite untraceable. This gave the family hope, and the go fund was halted as the disease seemed to have been defeated.
Unfortunately, this year, on 30th September 2024, the cancer was retraced and this time even more dangerous. This has prompted doctors to advise the family that Waliah needs a bone marrow transplant.
Her family, despite their relentless efforts, has managed to raise £ 2,050 towards the overwhelming £ 47,154 needed for Waliah's bone marrow transplant procedure. They find themselves in a desperate situation, grappling with the harsh reality that without your support, they may not be able to afford the life-saving treatment that Waliah urgently needs.
We are reaching out to you, our community, with an emotional appeal to open your hearts and extend a helping hand. Every contribution, no matter how big or small, will make a significant difference in Waliah's fight against leukemia. Let's come together to ensure that this brave little girl gets the chance to live out her dreams.
Waliah's dream is to become a doctor one day, inspired by her own journey and the desire to help other children facing similar battles. Your support will not only aid in her recovery but will also contribute to the realization of a future where Waliah can grow up and make a difference in the lives of others.
Please consider making a donation to our GoFundMe campaign and share this story with your network. Together, we can be the beacon of hope that Waliah and her family
