Briana's Medical Expenses

Briana is a mom to two beautiful babies and wife to husband Neil. We have always known she is a warrior but this year has proven even more so just how tough she actually is.

Starting last year, Briana’s health declined after becoming sick with Covid. She was in and out of the hospital throughout the year with varies health struggles after this illness. She eventually had no choice but to stop working due to these health struggles.

On August 24 Briana declined suddenly and she was admitted to the ICU at ARMC Hospital with severe illness. She was in respiratory and liver failure. She spent almost 90 days in the ICU, much of that time on a ventilator and her prognosis was touch and go. Her husband Neil meanwhile has maintained the homelife while his wife has been sick. He has been working fulltime, taking care of the kids and the household. By the grace of god Briana is coming home but this journey is just beginning.

Briana requires round the clock care. She was denied insurance coverage for in-patient rehabilitation and has been discharged to her family’s care. Neil has renovated the entire downstairs of their home to be handicap accessible for her while she continues to recover. Briana is going to need CNA care to help her in this next step of recovery and its going to be a long process. This is all out of pocket for the family. Briana has made amazing progress, and she is nothing short of a miracle. We are so blessed that she is home and give praise to God. Please pray for her and her family.
