This goFund me page is set up by the co-workers of Megan Miller. The funds raised will go directly to Megan so that she can cover her living expenses for 6.5 weeks while she receives radiation treatment for Periosteal Osteosarcoma in simpler terms bone cancer. Megan will have direct access to the funds so she can pay directly for housing, food and transportation since she will have to travel every week to Atlanta, GA from her home in South Carolina to receive treatment at Emory.

At age 26 Megan was diagnosed with Periosteal Osteosarcoma, Bone Cancer. Megan endured surgery which entailed nearly cutting her in half so that the effected portion of the rib could be removed. Many months of treatment followed and praise God the cancer went into remission and remained that way until 2019.

In 2019, at the age of 30, Megan learned that the cancer had returned and that she would have to endure another round of surgery. So once again the doctors, guided by the hand of God, went back into Megan’s body and removed the cancer. After the surgery Megan went through 4 months of Chemotherapy and is now starting 6.5 weeks of Proton Radiation Therapy. The surgery and chemotherapy were obtained near her home in South Carolina so her expenses were kept manageable. However, the nearest location that the Proton Radiation therapy is offered is in Atlanta, GA. The therapy requires daily treatments which necessitates staying in Atlanta.

Any donations that can be made to help Megan with her housing expenses while she gets this most desperately needed treatment are gratefully appreciated.
