Angel was diagnosed with Stage 3, triple negative invasive ductal carcinoma in February, it is also inflammatory, impacting the skin. Last week she completed 6 months of chemotherapy, and she will have a double mastectomy at the end of October, followed by 7 weeks of radiation, five days a week.

There have been ups and downs with infection, illness, and side effects but her tumors have resolved, and we are pushing forward.

Angel's employer has been generous and supportive, but her insurance deductible is $9,000, with additional travel, co-pays, and other expenses piling up. We are thankful and fortunate to have our jobs, homes, and insurance but the weight of the deductible and additional expenses is hard to combat.
