Baby Jacob

Baby Jacob’s routine genetic testing came back positive for SMA- spinal muscular atrophy. This is a rare genetic disorder that can cause progressive damage to spinal nerves. There is a wide range of severity but in some cases can be fatal within the first few years of life. He is now at Seattle children’s hospital to start treatment and undergo further testing.

Being out of town is difficult and expensive. Anyone who has the capacity to help can contribute here.
