Anyone seeing this already knows me (or has at one point). I am very humbly writing this due to my current legal battle I am in because of my current divorce. Though I am unable to go into major detail due to ongoing litigation, I am in need of help. To give a brief overview, we had an emergency hearing to aid in an emergency custody hearing for my son on 6/30/2025. We have an extended order of protection in place through the end trial date scheduled on 10/24/25. My retainer with my lawyer had to be maintained at $2,000.00 through that period. Through the generosity and help from fantastic friends and family, we have made it that far. Now that we are at the final stretch of this litigation, my retainer has depleted to a $0.00 balance and will need to be replenished to $3,000.00 no later than 10/9/2025. This will help cover the trial preparation meeting on 10/9/2025 as well as the final hearing on 10/24/2025.
