- Extensive due diligence planning, state and municipal support, and a team ready to go.
- We are in process of securing significant grants and incentives from MassDevelopment, ARPA, and local, state, and federal government next year
- Eligible for over $3.8 million in state and federal historic tax credits, tax credit syndicator on standby with buyers
- MassDevelopment and Life Initiative are prepared to bridge credits into the deal and guarantee loan
- Letter of support from Mayor Garcia
We are on a tight deadline, by December 15th 2022, we need a minimum of $50k, more comfortably $100k, to initiate a ground lease with enough runway for 5-6 months while we continue raising the rest of the start-up expenses.

We are excited to report an incredible blessing. On the 15th we received a letter of interest from a local company for over half the units and the seller agreed to extend the due diligence period another month!!!

Founders Story:
The catalyzing spark for Develop CHI happened in a hospital in January 2016. Fueled by seeing my mother on life support after a brain aneurysm left her paralyzed in a coma, I set out on a journey to build a world with more access to preventative health. While on that journey, what I thought were migraines and fatigue, was actually a golfball-sized vestibular neuroma. It pushed into my brainstem and cerebellum, blocking cerebral spinal fluid from leaving my brain, causing my entire body to shut down. My brain nearly erupted. Emergency surgery to install a cerebral shunt happened just in time. A second surgery to remove the tumor was planned for six weeks later, but due to healthcare worker burnout, it happened six months later. I knew burnout was a problem, the Surgeon General warned about the healthcare system collapsing, but now I was living it.
After the second surgery, I had to relearn proprioception, all motor skills, walking, talking, balance, and hearing. It took six months of constant therapy, but I did it! Without healthcare workers, I wouldn’t have my mother or my life. There are countless stories like this.
Healthcare workers dedicate their lives, so we can live longer and have more precious moments with those we love. Now more than ever, they need our help. They care for us every day; it’s time we care for them!
