The Oxford Fund

My name is Joseph and I grew up in Humble, Texas, where I spent most of my childhood and adolescence. I then attended The University of Texas at Austin and graduated with my bachelor's degree in Philosophy. After taking a two-year gap period to deliberate about my future and gain some real-life experience, I decided to return to school. I worked incredibly hard and applied to 13 different graduate programs to increase my chances of getting into a good school. God blessed me to get accepted into my dream school, Oxford University, where I will pursue the BPhil in philosophy. I aspire to be a professor and teach the philosophy of religion, Christian philosophy, and the philosophy of science here in the states. Going to Oxford brings me one step closer to this goal of furthering human knowledge and understanding in the field of philosophy.

However, the practical aspect of moving my life overseas to the UK will be a considerable endeavor and comes with quite a hefty price tag. I hope to raise funds to help pay for various relocation and educational expenses such as airfare/travel, a student visa, initial rent payments, household items, and school supplies.
