As all of you friends and family know, Honey is my baby girl. She's been my anchor these last 8.5 years....especially this past year when I'd come home to any empty apartment everyday on those not so great days. I was devastated when I found a lump, and hoped it wouldn't be anything more than a fatty tumor. I was able to schedule her with an oncologist at Veterinary Cancer and Surgery Specialist, and they confirmed what her vet already told me...mast cell tumor that needs to be removed asap. It's growing rapidly and they were able to get her in for surgery next week. Because of the urgency of this appointment, I wasn't able to save up or even be prepared for something like this. She will need to have the surgery funds paid for when she is picked up, and I regret to say this, but I am struggling. The previous vet appointments, consults with oncologist and surgeon, and now preop tests, have drained me. I could push this back to when I am more able to afford it, however, I've had so many amazing family members and close friends, who just love my Honey, ask if they could help in anyway. I wasn't sure how to accept help, and a few people brought this to my attention. So, please, if you can help, great!! If you can't, maybe pass on the info to someone that little Honey's life has touched. She brings a smile to my face everyday and I don't know what I would do without her. And please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

Surgery date is Friday 3/18.
