Love for Briggs -Home destroyed by electrical fire

Just after 5:00 on Sunday morning, August 21, 2023, our four-year-old son woke up my wife and his mom (Moriah) because he thought something might be on fire. Moriah immediately got our sons out of our apartment and was able to get word out so that all residents of the building were able to get out safely.

We lost all of our possessions, but I am thanking God that Moriah and our two sons, along with all those in our apartment are safe. Specifically, we’re thanking God that while I was at work, He woke up our son and alertedso he could wake up Moriah. Had that not occurred, we could be facing much more than loss of material possessions.

This fund is being established for those family, friends, and neighbors who inquired about how they could help. The only things we are in need of right now is a finding a new place to call home, furnishing, and clothing.
