I’m writing on behalf of my dear friend, who is going through one of the hardest moments of her life. Her beloved senior pit bull, Miley, was rushed to the hospital with severe pneumonia and serious complications.

Miley isn’t just a pet — she’s family. She’s been by my friend’s side for 12 years — through every move, heartbreak, and new beginning. The bond they share is something truly special; Miley has been her constant source of comfort, strength, and unconditional love.

This sudden emergency has come during an already challenging time, making it even harder for her to manage both emotionally and financially. The veterinary bill is over $10,000, covering emergency hospitalization, oxygen therapy, and medications to help Miley breathe and recover.

She would never ask for help herself, but Miley means everything to her. I’ve watched her pour her entire heart into giving this sweet girl the best life possible. Right now, she just wants to make sure Miley is safe, warm, and healed.
