Heart Attack Recovery for T.J.

T.J. Pulliam, father of 3 young children, is fighting for his life after having a massive heart attack at the age of 38. The doctors called his heart attack the widowmaker because he had 100% blockage of the LAD artery.
A typical Thursday morning turned quickly horrific. He began to have severe pain radiate down his arm. He then started to feel nauseous and disoriented. He knew something was wrong and told his wife, Whitney Pulliam, to call 911. He was rushed to the hospital by ambulance. While on their way, T.J. coded. The paramedics worked diligently, performing CPR on him for approximately 30 minutes, saving his life.
T.J. needed 5 stents placed in his heart before being flown to a hospital in Tulsa for a special machine to help his heart and lungs recover. He has been in the hospital now for 3 weeks. He has been mostly sedated and intubated. Thankfully, an MRI showed there was no oxygen deprivation! Praise the Lord!
T.J. is not just any man. He is my older brother who has been such a source of light for me growing up. He is an amazing father, husband, and brother. My family and I believe and know God will continue to heal him, but he has a long recovery ahead, with no expected release date from the hospital yet.
