Help Our Family Escape Danger in Gaza
Donation protected
This is my happy family , Bahaa, the kids and I. Please read our story in a few words:
Before the War on Gaza, we were living such normal and happy days.
It was like going to school, studying, visiting restaurants and cafes and doing so many simple and ordinary things.
Now, it turns into a nightmare and after more than 180 days of WAR, were are so hopeless , frightened and frustrated. Help us as a family to escape from destruction , harsh circumstances and death to move to a peaceful city in this world!
Donate and give my kids and us a chance to start a new life since we are looking for a bright future for them. It's like a dream to make it here in Gaza!

Bahaa, my husband, he was living a normal daily life with our family , friends and in his job. He is a sport trainer. He used to spend his days teaching and training the students on different sports topics. In his free time, Bahaa used to make bike rides with his friends roaming the streets of Gaza from south to north and from east to west. Its's so difficult now to practice none of them. His college , where he used to work in, turned into a shelter! We were there for more than 3 months during our displacement journey. With a group of voluntary animators, he tried to spread joy and happiness between the kids in the shelter through performing psychological and entertainment support activities. It did not last so long because the Israeli soldiers bombed the shelter and forced us to evacuate the place on foot and in front of their eyes and hateful looks!

Hi, I am Wafaa. I am an English language trainer. Actually teaching the language is my passion. I trained kids, teenagers and youth in different places; schools, language centers and colleges. Most of the schools, colleges and even universities were completely destroyed by the Israelis. The other remaining ones turned to be shelters to displaced Gazans. Now , there is no education for more than 6 months and will not be even after the war for a LONG time! Being outside Gaza will be a good opportunity to pursue my career and practice what I really like to do. Support me and give me a hand.

Jad, my first boy. He just started his first steps in playing football in a Gazan football academy. He spent his summer vacation on training with the coach and the kids. He was so enthusiastic to complete what he has just started even in school time. Instead, he is helping us as a family in holding the gallons of fresh water or charging the mobiles in a remote places since there is electricity since 6 months! Actually, Jad is no more able to practice his favourite hoppy since all football academies and clubs were smashed because of fierce war on Gaza. Help him to achieve his dream and be a clever football player.

This is Majd, he is my little boy. Majd is supposed to be now in the first year in kindergarten (KG1) playing with kids, drawing and painting nice pictures , learning the first letters of the language or writing the numbers. Unfortunately, all these choices are not available now. Majd is just moving with us as a family from one shelter to another safer one. some times he had the chance to play with the children and the animators in the psychological and entertainment support activities in the shelter!

Alma, my princess, she is cute, clever and optimistic. She is really enjoying life and her teenage. She is fond of accessories, face masks and colourful nail polish. Alma used to buy such things from Gazan shops which were destroyed completely by the Israeli tanks. She likes to make hand made necklaces and bracelets from the beads. Alma spent the war days doing nothing precious since she left the beads box in our home. Now, It's under the rubble of our home which was bombed by the Israeli fighter warplanes!

Dear Community, Friends, and Family,
I come to you with an urgent plea on behalf of my family, currently trapped amidst the chaos and danger of Gaza's relentless bombings and airstrikes. The situation has become untenable, leaving my loved ones without a safe haven and pushing them to the brink of despair.
The need to move my family to a secure location has become paramount. The cost for each adult is $5000 USD, while for children, it amounts to $2500 per child. With a total of $17,500 required to relocate our entire family to a safer place, every contribution matters profoundly.
I implore you to join hands with us in this critical hour. Your assistance, whether big or small, will serve as a beacon of hope amidst the darkness of destruction. Together, we can provide my family with the means to rebuild their shattered lives and embrace a future free from fear.
I have launched a fundraising campaign on GoFundMe with a target of $20,000 USD, aiming to address the immediate challenges my family faces. Your generosity can make a tangible difference in ensuring their safety and well-being.
In the face of such adversity, your kindness and compassion offer a ray of hope. Please consider supporting us in our quest for a safer and brighter tomorrow.
Thank you for your unwavering support and solidarity during this tumultuous time.
Sincerely,
Bahaa Abu Lebda
